I have always ridden a bike. In grade school, high school and college I loved the freedom and perspective that a bike could provide. I never was very fast, but I learned early on that a bike could take me far. Not only physically far away – 25, 50 even 100 miles or more in a day – but I’ve learned that bike can take me far from my current perspective. When I face a tough problem or a difficult situation, a long bike ride is usually the perfect way to decide on the next steps.
