Answering The Inevitable Recumbent Questions

When we are out riding, people will often approach us to ask questions about the trikes.  They are naturally curious about them, and we usually love to talk about them.  We have started a few interesting conversations this way.  And we have met many wonderful and interesting people.  It is actually these conversations with strangers that prompted us to put together our Recumbent FAQ’s Page.

These conversations take a little time.  And there are occasions when we just don’t have time to spend answering questions, and we need to cut the conversation short.    Perhaps we need to get home soon to take care of Mac, or to get ready for a dinner reservation.  If we are on tour, we may need to get to the day’s destination before dusk.  We don’t want to be rude, but we don’t want to disrupt our carefully timed plans either.

RG BCard

Recently we got these business cards made.    It’s one possible solution to this dilemma.    We can hand a card to a person who approaches and let them know “I don’t have time to answer all your questions now, but please check in on our website.  Lot’s of answers there, and if you register, you can ask about anything else and I promise I’ll get back to you”

I think that’s a lot nicer than just blowing them off, don’t you?  And perhaps it will help to drive some traffic to the site.  Worth a try anyway….
