Shrimp and Clam Pasta in Light Wine Sauce

I love this easy, tasty pasta dish. If you add a nice green salad, it is a complete meal. It can be made with mussels as well but if you can’t get good shellfish, you can make it with just shrimp.  I cook the shrimp first because I like it with a sear on it and not just cooking it in the sauce, but it is up to you.

i am making this pasta dish with shrimp and clams because I couldn't find good mussels on this particular day. The only difference would be to put the clams and mussels together and wait until they open. The mussels will open first.

  8. Add the clams and shrimp back into the sauce and add parsley just before serving. Cook linguini per package instructions. Serve over linguini. Enjoy
