St. Augustine Equipment List

I’m starting to complete the equipment list for this ride.  Even though this is a relatively short ride, there seems like a lot of stuff to drag along.   I need to decide what I really need.  Where is it all going to fit on the bike?

It is a warm ride, so I’m not concerned about cold weather stuff.  Hopefully it will be cool a few evenings and mornings.  I do worry about rain – I am surely going to get wet on this ride.

Anyway – here is the current list of stuff I am planning to bring along. It is also a tentative plan for where I intend to pack it all on the bike so that I stay evenly balanced.  I’ve divided stuff into ‘rooms’ – garage, kitchen, etc.  That is just my shorthand for keeping related stuff together in one place.

Please take a look  – if you notice anything I’ve forgotten, or you spot something I really shouldn’t bother with, please leave a comment and let me know.

Next week, I’ll be doing some rides with the bike all loaded up, so I’m pretty sure I will tweak the locations some.  Come back and check this post again later – I’ll post the final configuration here when I get it sorted out.

    1. Well, I’m whittling it down a bit. Its only a 6 day ride, so I don’t need as much clothing as I planned originally, I’ll just smell bad when I get there.I was planning to update he journal along the way, but maybe I’ll write it all afterward. In that case I won’t need the laptop – which is one of he heaviest things.
